Iris is an aristocratic daughter whose emotions don't show on her face and her arranged marriages continue to fail. Her father finds her a marriage partner, a duke whose head is cursed to turn into smoke. Iris is surprised to see the duke's appearance, but due to his expressionless face, he mistakenly thinks that he is unfazed, and is pleased that he has found a good wife. It is a ``Cinderella romance'' that depicts the love between two lonely people, a faceless young lady and a faceless duke.
