A collection of works by director and animator Tsutomu Shibayama, 'Tsutomu Shibayama Works,' will be released today, May 15th. In addition, a special exhibition to commemorate this event, 'Tsutomu Shibayama's Work,' will be held at Anime Tokyo Station in Tokyo from tomorrow, May 16th to July 5th.

The Legacy of Tsutomu Shibayama
Shibayama, who was a director, animator, and also the manager of the production company Asiado, passed away on March 6th. As a director, he has worked on works such as 'Doraemon,' 'Chibi Maruko-chan,' and 'Nintama Rantaro,' and as an animator, he has demonstrated his skills on such works as 'Dogutsu Gaeru,' 'Ganso Tensai Bakabon,' and 'Gamba's Adventure.' He has also worked as a manga artist and illustrator.
The Tsutomu Shibayama Works Collection
The 'Tsutomu Shibayama Works Collection' includes setting materials, storyboards, original drawings, image boards, etc. drawn by Shibayama for the production of the animation. Works in manga and illustrations are also included, and many materials are included for the first time. It is currently on sale at Amazon, Anime Style ONLINE SHOP, and some bookstores, and at Anime Style ONLINE SHOP and Anime Style events, a booklet containing unreleased private illustrations and manga will be included.
