The May 23rd episode of the anime "Doraemon" based on the original work by Fujiko F. Fujio will feature a special episode commemorating Shizuka-chan's birth month and the Vietnam release of "Doraemon the Movie: New Nobita's Undersea Demon Rock Castle."

The title of the special episode set in Vietnam to celebrate Shizuka's birthday month is ``My present is a trip to Vietnam.'' This is the third installment of the ``Doraemon around the World'' series, which has previously aired episodes with global themes such as ``Meet that cat in Thailand'' and ``New Year's Eve in Spain.'' Vietnam, where the story is set, is a country where "Doraemon" is very popular, with last year's movie "Nobita's Picture World Story" recording the highest box office revenue and attendance ever. In this episode, the story begins when Shizuka says, ``I want to go to Vietnam someday,'' and Nobita suggests, ``Let's give her a trip to Vietnam as a birthday present.'' Nobita tries to use the familiar Anywhere Door, but is told by Doraemon that it is being repaired... Vietnam's tourist attractions such as Hoan Kiem Lake, World Heritage Site Ha Long Bay, and Dragon Bridge appear one after another in the movie. In addition to Shizuka wearing Vietnam's national costume, Ao Dai, the content is full of Vietnamese elements, such as ``genuine konjac banh mi flavor''.
In addition, to commemorate Shizuka-chan's birthday month, we will be holding a "Decoration Chao♪ Chanchi Coloring Contest". For the contest, coloring illustrations of Doraemon, Nobita, Shizuka, and Dorami wearing Ao Dai were prepared. If you apply color or decoration to this illustration, the winning work will be featured on the program. Winners will also receive a Vietnamese board game called "Ting Ting Doraemon." Additionally, the contest will be held simultaneously in Vietnam.
