The setting of ``The Trench Star'' is Birmingham, England, in 1914, where war is approaching. The story of Monica, a ``witch'' girl who flies through the sky on a mechanical broom, begins. It is an "industrial fantasy" that depicts a world of magic and weapons.
In addition, this issue also includes a paper craft of ``Smoke and Honey'', also known as ``Dress-up Bunji'', as a binding appendix. The illustrations used are original drawings by Hiroko Chozo. The latest 7 volumes of ``Smoke and Honey'' are being released at the same time today.
