Celebrate the Release of Assassination Classroom the Movie: Minna no Jikan at Animate

There is some really great news for all the fans of Class 3-E! A special fair is currently being held to commemorate the big release of the animated film, Assassination Classroom the Movie: Minna no Jikan. This movie is based on the legendary original work by Yusei Matsui, and honestly, the excitement is quite high. The fair is happening at Animate stores and through their official mail order service all across the country. If you are planning to go, make sure you do it before April 19th because that is when it ends.

Announcement of Koro-sensei greeting event has also been shared, which is making everyone very happy. At the Animate fair, if you are purchasing or even just reserving any products related to Assassination Classroom during this period, you will get a special bonus. For every 1,000 yen spent (including tax), you will receive one of seven types of limited-edition bookmarks. It is a very good deal for collectors who want to keep a memory of the series.

Exclusive Japanese-Themed Goods and Character Illustrations

The merchandise lineup for this fair is actually quite impressive. They are selling acrylic stands that feature brand-new illustrations of Nagisa, Gyo, and seven other characters all dressed up in traditional Japanese attire. Seeing them in such different clothes is quite refreshing! Apart from the stands, there is also a collection of acrylic figures. These figures have very cute, deformed illustrations of a total of 10 people, and yes, Koro-sensei is definitely included in that list.

  • Nagisa Shiota: Featured in new Japanese-themed artwork.
  • Koro-sensei: Available in both standard and deformed figure styles.
  • Limited Bonuses: Seven different bookmark designs for shoppers.
  • Exclusive Event: Free greeting session at the Ikebukuro Main Store.

Now, if you are in Tokyo around March 29th, you should definitely head over to the north building of the Animate Ikebukuro Main Store. They are going to hold a special Koro-sensei greeting session there. The best part is that participation is completely free! The sessions are scheduled to start at 12:00, 14:00, and 16:00, with each one lasting for about 15 to 20 minutes. You can even take photos of Koro-sensei, so don't forget to bring your camera or phone along.

Behind-the-Scenes: Staff Roundtable and Special Features

Comic Natalie is also doing a very deep dive into the movie with a special feature titled Assassination Classroom the Movie: Everyone's Time. They recently organized a roundtable discussion with the core team behind the production. This included the scriptwriter Makoto Uezu, character designer Aya Higami, director Masaki Kitamura, and producer Naoto Shoji. It is quite interesting to hear them talk about the history of the series and all the little behind-the-scenes stories that happened during production.

Feature article below:

The film itself is described as a reunion that everyone can participate in. It explores how the students envisioned themselves 10 years into the future, which is something many of us have wondered about. Reading the staff roundtable, you can really feel the passion they have for this project. If you've ever thought about Assassination Classroom and why it stays so popular, these stories really give you the answer. This update was officially posted on March 23, 2026, under the Comic category, and it’s a must-read for anyone who loves this unique story.
