Blood Pact Anastasia: Vampire of City Hall

Volume 1 of Hikaru Tanaka's ``Blood Pact Anastasia'', originally written by Cho Ubukata, was released by KADOKAWA today, April 14th.

100 years have passed since the Great Demon King was defeated. Vampire Anastasia works in the women's section of city hall while waiting for her beloved master, Drakulesti, to return. However, one day, Glengamorn, the leader of the "Eternal Darkness Followers" who do harm to humans, returns. In order to protect the peaceful world that her master aims for, Anastasia stands up with a treasure trove containing the great demon king's treasures as a weapon. The work is currently being serialized on Piccoma's manga label MANGA Bar. Volume 2 will be released on May 14th.

Melon Books, Kinokuniya Bookstore, Miraiya Bookstore, and Maruzen Junkudo Bookstore will each be distributing a special short story written by Ubukata with different content. Gamers has prepared a bromide using Tanaka's original illustration. Melonbooks also offers an acrylic stand as a paid bonus.

Comic Natalie conducted an interview with Ubukata and Tanaka in conjunction with the release of Volume 1. We heard a lot about the behind-the-scenes aspects of the project's creation, the creation of characters with an awareness of gaps, and the atmosphere at the production site, which emphasizes rationality. You can also read the first episode on the page.
