It has been revealed that Chuya Koyama's ``Space Brothers'' will conclude with 3 episodes left. The final 46th volume is scheduled to be released on July 23rd.
"Space Brothers", which has been serialized in Morning (Kodansha) since 2007, is a story about the daily lives of astronaut Rokuta Nanba and his younger brother. A live-action film and TV anime were produced in 2012, and an animated film was produced in 2014. In 2011, it won both the 56th Shogakukan Manga Award in the general category and the 35th Kodansha Manga Award in the general category.
Koyama commented, ``I'm looking forward to seeing how it ends.To everyone who has read this far, please stay with me until the final volume.'' To commemorate the conclusion, starting today, March 19th, Magazine Pocket and Comic DAYS will be running a free distribution campaign.
