The first volume of the comic adaptation of Reisuke Kaneko's youth novel ``Dead Kimura wo Performance'' was released today, April 23rd. The manga is written by Tamane Taka.
"Performing a Dead Kimura" is a story that investigates the truth behind "Kimura"'s death that occurred eight years ago. A threatening letter was sent to a graduate of the Keiei University Drama Research Group. "Who killed Kimura? If you want to know the truth about eight years ago, come to Gokuraku, an inn in Hinazuki Onsen, on January 9, 2024 at 2:00 p.m." On the night Kimura died, when Niwata, Sakimoto, Hatori, and Inami, who were fourth-year students at Gekiken, visited the inn, they found Rika, a woman who claimed to be Kimura's younger sister, waiting for them. In order to find out the truth behind her brother's death, she asks the four of them to reenact the training camp from eight years ago... The work is currently being serialized in Comic DAYS. The first volume of the comic version of Kaneko's novels ``Dead Yamada and the Classroom'' and ``Dead Ishii's Horde'' was also released on the same day.
