Time Stranger: How to Get Beelzemon, Veemon & Every Rare Item
Some of Time Stranger's most-hunted things — Beelzemon, Veemon's questline, Fruit Tarts, Iron Textures — are hidden behind missable shops, side quests, and cryptic NPC hints.
This guide covers all of them in one place, so you never have to alt-tab mid-quest again.

Beelzemon enters the story through Minervamon's questline in Rebellion Village: she asks you to bring her a Digimon that rides a motorcycle — and the Tanemon nearby (the one wanting a Card Battle) reveals the answer: Beelzemon.
The easiest Digivolution route:
- DemiDevimon → Sangloupmon → Astamon → Beelzemon — the path requiring minimal personality changes.
- Give DemiDevimon an ATK-boosting personality like Reckless so it has the ATK and SPD to reach Sangloupmon — our personality guide covers exactly how to get Reckless.
- Shortcut: skip DemiDevimon entirely by fighting Sangloupmon in the Dark Field for its conversion DNA — and scan to 200% if you plan to battle with Beelzemon. (200% scans also mean higher starting Talent — see why here.)
Completing the quest: With Beelzemon in your main party, speak to Minervamon in Rebellion Village for a cutscene, then talk to her again near the In-Between Theater doorway. Rewards: 100 Anomaly Points and two Friendship DX (+5% Bond each).
Beelzemon BM boss tip: In the related "Minervamon's Decision" mission, Beelzemon BM is a Virus type weak to Light and Earth — Vaccine Digimon like ShineGreymon, BanchoLeomon, and Cherubimon (Good) hit the Light weakness, and Cross Art: High Field buffs your party before the fight.

How to Get Veemon in Time Stranger
Veemon's big moment is in the post-game: the four-mission "Veemon's Growth" line, part of Royal Knights, Assemble! — through it you recruit Magnamon (Veemon's Digivolution), plus Examon and UlforceVeedramon.
The Veemon's Growth mission itself is charmingly simple:
- Find Veemon at Gear Forest: Sanctuary, agree with "Sure, I know a place," head to the Underpass, and recommend the "Super-sweet ice cream" option at the restaurant.
- Return to Gear Forest: Sanctuary, watch him Digivolve, and collect 150 Anomaly Points and a Courage Point V.
Yes — the path to one of the 13 Royal Knights runs through buying a Rookie ice cream. Peak Digimon.
Armor Veemon bonus: with Agent Rank 3 and the Digi-Egg of Courage, any Veemon can Armor Digivolve into Flamedramon instantly — and the Digi-Egg stays permanently usable for every future Veemon.
Where to Get Fruit Tart in Time Stranger
The most missable item in the early game:
- Buy Fruit Tarts at the Weekly Mart convenience store in Shinjuku: East Shopping District for 1,200 Yen each — grab at least 3 before entering the Digital World.
- Why they matter: after the Factorial Town main quests, Volcanusmon crafts Spirits and Digi-Eggs — with 3 Fruit Tarts, 10,000 Yen, and 1 Saint Knuckle I, you unlock Lobomon early.
- If you've already left for the Digital World, you'll have to progress the story until you return to the Human World — so buy early. Same warning applies to the Barbeque Skewer Set from the same store: buy it, don't eat it.
Where to Find Iron Slash 1
Iron Slash 1 is an Attachment Steel skill needed for certain Digivolution and crafting checks. Two reliable sources:
- Skill disc shops — check the In-Between Theater's disc shop (stock rotates with story progress) and the Akihabara disc shop if it's not there yet.
- Many Digimon learn qualifying moves naturally — if a requirement isn't registering, a party Digimon may already know the move; remove it from active slots so it counts.
Where to Get Iron Texture
The material Beelzemon's questline demands (and it's not the Rusty Iron Texture — a common mix-up). Community-confirmed spots:
- Factorial Area (8 years ago): from the entrance, go right as if heading to the shop — one pickup sits along that path.
- Wendigomon at Central Town: Spiral Waterway (present day) trades materials for other materials.
- Passive farming: load ~30 Digimon into the Digifarm and wait — one player reported 16 Iron Textures from a couple of hours.
- A locked loot area in the present-day Factory zone also carries them — you'll need the passport from Vademon to enter.

Conclusion

Fruit Tarts — Weekly Mart, Shinjuku, buy 3 before the Digital World. Iron Slash 1 — Theater/Akihabara disc shops. Iron Texture — Factorial Area (past), Wendigomon trades, or Digifarm patience.
