The TV anime "Flame Fighting Ball Girl Dodge Danko" based on the original work by Tetsuhiro Koshitata will begin broadcasting on TOKYO MX, MBS, and BS11 from July. Teaser PV and additional cast have been announced.

This was announced today, March 28th, at "AnimeJapan 2026" being held at Tokyo Big Sight in Tokyo. In the PV, footage and voices of the Tamukawa Toukyu Club, including Ichigeki Danko played by Manaka Nakayama and Chinko Kobutsu played by Kaori Maeda, were released for the first time. It has also been announced that Katsuyuki Konishi and Toru Inada will play the adult versions of Danpei and Kobutsu Chinen, respectively. You can also see it in the teaser PV.
"Flame Fighting Ball Girl Dodge Danko" is the orthodox sequel to "Flaming Fighting Ball Girl Dodge Danpei" which gained popularity in the 1990s. The story depicts Danpei Ichigeki's daughter, Danko Ichigeki, inheriting Danpei's soul and striving to create the strongest dodgeball team in the Reiwa era.
