A special edition of the same issue was also released to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the "Duel Masters" series. The cover illustrations are of the main characters and accompanying creatures drawn by Shigenobu Matsumoto. A deck for beginners to Duel Masters and a play mat poster are included as appendices common to the regular version. It was also announced that "Duel Masters RX" will be transferred to Weekly CoroCoro Comic and serialization will begin on May 1st.
