Funaki Kaiji's ``Kichikowa - A true scary story that happened at a Self-Defense Force base'', based on the original work by Satoshi Fujiwara, was released today, April 9th.
This work is a horror omnibus depicting scary stories related to the Self-Defense Forces. Fujiwara, the author of the Self-Defense Force-themed ``Rising Sun'' series, heard a scary story he heard while interviewing Self-Defense Force personnel, and Funaki turned it into a manga. It also includes episodes based on Fujiwara's own experiences as a former member of the Self-Defense Forces.
