The Return of Naruto
Ahead of its 25th anniversary, Naruto is making a comeback with a limited-edition clothing collection featuring Sasuke, Gaara, and more this August. The upcoming capsule collection follows a massive resurgence in the Naruto series across different media and franchises.
YoungLA, the Los Angeles-based lifestyle and fitness apparel brand, is launching a premium clothing collection based on Naruto. In particular, this anime-themed apparel line features the cast as young adults from Naruto: Shippuden (2007).
The Inspiration Behind the New Arc
Naruto, Sasuke, and Gaara headline the YoungLA collection with visually stunning designs featured across a variety of clothing, alongside other notable characters like Obito Uchiha and Kakuzu. The Naruto x YoungLA capsule collection officially launches on Aug. 11 at 12 PM PT, exclusively on youngla.com.
The Naruto x YoungLA clothing collection retails for $38-$70 USD. "We're all big fans of Naruto," YoungLA said via a press release, "and it's something our customers have been asking for a long time, so we thought it was finally time."
Bandai Namco officially revealed that a new Naruto-based trading card game will be released in 2027. "I'm glad to see the world of Naruto grow larger once again," series creator Masashi Kishimoto said about the new TCG. "I truly hope these cards find their way to both your hands and your hearts."
A New Era for Naruto
Of course, the most exciting Naruto project is the upcoming live-action film directed by Destin Daniel Cretton (Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings). A global casting call for Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura is currently underway. Development on the live-action anime movie is guaranteed to attract even more attention following Cretton's record-breaking box office release of his latest Marvel film, Spider-Man: Brand New Day, as it surpassed $900 million during its global opening weekend.
Naruto is available to stream on Netflix, Crunchyroll, and Hulu/Disney+. The original manga and ongoing Boruto manga can be read digitally on the Viz Media and Manga Plus apps.
