A new series by Risumi Takaguchi, known for 'Hana no Asuka-gumi!', 'Diamond Blues: Konan Dofu and the Seven Uncles,' started today, June 24th, as a work on Kadokomi's COMIC BRIDGE label.

'Diamond Blues Douji Konan and the Seven Uncles' is an overly defensive comedy about Konami Tsukushi, a world-renowned beautiful girl who causes trouble, and a group of usually dull and strongest old men who pretend that her crisis never happened.

The Return to ASUKA

The new and old heroines will discuss 'Diamond Blues' in a promotional manga commemorating the start of serialization, which will be published in the September issue of ASUKA (KADOKAWA), released on July 24th. Asuka Kuraku, the main character of 'Hana no Asuka-gumi!', also appears in the advertising manga. This is the first time in about 30 years that Takaguchi has published a work in ASUKA magazine, since the serialization of 'Hana no Asuka-gumi!' ended in 1995.
