Seiki Misumi and Yoshitsune Asama in "Nihon Sankoku" visual, new cast revealed

Additional cast, special visuals, ending theme, and third preview of the TV anime "Nihon Mikuni" based on the original work by Ikka Matsuki have been released.

The setting of "Japan Three Kingdoms" is Japan in the near future, where civilization has collapsed due to a revolution caused by nuclear war, natural disasters, and bad government. The story depicts the activities of the main character, Seiki Misumi, who attempts to reunify Japan, which has once again entered the Sengoku period after being divided into three countries: Yamato, Buo, and Sei. New cast members include Keno Horiuchi as Yayakichi Hei, Shuichiro Umeda as Takeo Nagao, Shunsuke Sakino as Akii Kura, and Ayumu Murase as Tsugui Hiradono.

Special visual drawn by Studio Kafka. The main characters, Seiki Misumi and Yoshitsune Asama, are depicted standing side by side with Tsutenkaku Tower, the symbol of Osaka, the capital of Yamato, in the background, exuding a strong determination to ``change the world.''

The ending theme was decided to be Leina's "Oath". The same song was used in the third preview. The trailer shows a battle for military power between Heidenki, who holds great power, his son Tsugu Heidono, and the Frontier Shogun Corps led by Ryumon, as well as the Seii side, centered around commander Sakura Wajima, strengthening their unity in preparation for an offensive against Yamato.

The anime "Nihon Mikuni" will be broadcast on TOKYO MX and other channels on April 6th, and distribution will start on Prime Video on April 5th prior to the broadcast. Along with this announcement, the synopsis and advance cut of the first episode, "Oath of Peace", were also released.
