Volume 1 of Subaru Nito's ``The Headless Curse'', originally written by Shinzo Mitsuda, was released by Mag Garden today, May 14th. This is a comic adaptation of Mitsuda's novel ``Toshiro Koya'' series.

The Story Unfolds
The story is set in Himekami Village, where legend has it that there is a ``Tankubi-sama'' who brings about sudden and unreasonable deaths. Yokitaka, a lonely boy who works for the landowner Ichigami family, goes to a shrine late at night to see Chojuro, the eldest son of the family who always treats him kindly, participating in the ``13th night pilgrimage''. However, during the ceremony that was supposed to pray for the peace of his family, Kotaka witnessed something strange... The story unfolds as novelist Taeko Takayashiki traces the incident that occurred on Mt. Himekubi.
