Tatsuo Sato's Masterpieces on YouTube

As a memorial project for director Tatsuo Sato, who brought many masterpieces to the world as an animation director, it has been revealed that seven of his masterpieces will be streamed all at once on KING AMUSEMENT CREATIVE's official YouTube channel. Distribution will start from 20:00 on July 7, 2026 for a limited time of about one week.

Director Tatsuo Sato was born on July 7, 1964 in Oiso Town, Kanagawa Prefecture. After graduating from Waseda University, he joined Asiado. After working as an animator and a director's assistant, he became a director in 1989, and became the director of "Fly! He made his debut as a TV series director with "Isami" (1995). Since then, he has worked on numerous works including "Mobile Battleship Nadesico," and is known as an indispensable author when discussing science fiction anime. He passed away on April 24, 2026 at the age of 61 due to liver failure.
