There is some really big news for all the fans of the 2.5D musical world. A brand new version of the super hit musical, The Prince of Tennis, is finally coming to the stage. Based on the iconic original work by Tsuyoshi Konbi, the production titled Musical The Prince of Tennis 4th Season National Tournament Seigaku vs. Rikkai Part 1 is officially scheduled to take place from July to August 2026. This is a massive update because it covers one of the most intense arcs in the entire series. The show will be traveling across five major cities in Japan, performing at six different theaters in Tokyo, Osaka, Hiroshima, Aichi, and Fukuoka. Along with this schedule, the production team has also treated fans by releasing the full cast list, some stunning key visuals, and individual character visuals to build up the hype.

The Final Battle: Seigaku's Path to the Top

This particular stage work is going to depict the legendary battle between Seigaku, who have finally reached the finals of the national tournament, and the reigning champion Rikkai. What makes this 4th season even more special is that, for the first time in the history of the The Prince of Tennis Musical, a match involving Nagoya Seitoku will actually be performed on the stage. This is a fresh addition that long-time followers of the musical series have been waiting for quite some time now.
