Sumiko Arai's pop-up store and fair titled ``The person I was interested in wasn't a man'' will be held at over 30 bookstores nationwide starting April 1st.

At the pop-up store & fair, we sell items using two types of newly drawn illustrations with different themes. A total of 15 items, including acrylic stands, pick-shaped key chains, can badges, book covers, and embroidered T-shirts, are designed with images of Aya and Mitsuki sharing earphones and the two wearing matching outfits.
Pop-up stores will be held from April 1st to 19th at MARUZEN & Junkudo Bookstore Sapporo store in Hokkaido, Ogaki Bookstore Azabudai Hills store in Tokyo, Junkudo Bookstore Ikebukuro main store in Tokyo, Ogaki Bookstore Kyoto Yodobashi store in Osaka, Miraiya Bookstore Dainichi store in Kyoto, and Maruzen Hakata store in Fukuoka. The fair will be held at bookstores nationwide from April 29th to May 10th. Additionally, pop-up stores and fairs offer different purchase benefits. Muzzle Online Shop will also be selling pop-up store goods online from May 29th.
``The person I was interested in was not a man'' is a youth story that begins when Aya, a high school girl, is interested in an ``old guy'' who works at a CD shop, but finds out that the guy's true identity is Mitsuki, an inconspicuous girl in her class. It was ranked 1st in the web manga category in the ``Next Coming Manga Awards 2023'' and 2nd in the female edition in ``This Manga is Amazing! 2024,'' and an anime version was also announced in February of this year.
