New Trailer and Visual for Snowball Earth Anime Released
The much-awaited main PV and key visual for the television anime adaptation of Snowball Earth are finally here! Based on the original manga work by Yujiro Tsujitsugu (also referred to as Tsujiji), this project is generating quite a lot of buzz among mecha and sci-fi fans. Along with the trailer, some very interesting new cast information has also been released to the public. It seems the production is moving along quite well for its scheduled broadcast.
A Glimpse into the Frozen World
The main PV starts on a very emotional note, showing the main character, Tetsuo Yabusame, and his robotic best friend Yukio. They are seen being warmly accepted by the residents of Mishima Mall, which is basically the last surviving base for humanity. Watching them develop a bond with the people there is quite touching. However, the tone shifts drastically in the second half of the video. We get a first look at a mysterious organization known as E-RDE's Light (Vierde), who appear to be standing in their way. The key visual also focuses heavily on Tetsuo and Yukio, while depicting the various friends they encounter and the mysterious light of E-RDE.

Expanding the Cast and Characters
The newly announced cast members will be voicing the group of monster users from E-RDE's Light. The legendary Tomokazu Sugita is taking on the role of Isseki Sagami, who leads this group. Sugita mentioned in a comment that seeing Sagami’s expressions toward children always gives him something to think about. Other cast members include:
- Kengo Kasai as Yuta Izumi
- Tomotaka Ohno as Tamiya Sakurai
- Manami Naradaira as Yuma Uzuki
- Anna Nagase as Kouichi
- Chisato Morinaga as Makoto Saionji
- Maki Kawase as Riko Akagi
This talented lineup definitely makes why this sci-fi mecha series is the next big anime hit even more obvious to those following the production. The character dynamics between the "savior" and this new organization will be a core part of the plot.
Music and Merchandise Updates
Regarding the music, the ending theme will be Ima Kokono Chest ni Tsujiru wa performed by Higuchi Ai. A special collaboration illustration by Tsujiji was also released alongside the song reveal. To celebrate the digital launch of the opening theme Zero by tuki. on April 4th, some exclusive T-shirts with original artwork are being given away. Fans can apply for this campaign by pre-saving the song on music platforms. Many believe that Snowball Earth will be a massive success, and you can see why this sci-fi mecha series is the next big anime hit through these high-quality collaborations.
The series will start broadcasting from April 3rd. It is a unique blend of "SF x monster x robot action" set on a frozen Earth. Takuto Yoshinaga will be the voice of Tetsuo, and we are quite excited to see his performance!
