The Inspiration Behind the New Arc
``TOYSTORY - PLAYFUL JOURNEY COLLECTION'', which will bring you a summer filled with fun and fun with friends from the movie ``Toy Story'', will be held at Lumine Est Shinjuku in Tokyo from July 21st to August 31st, 2026. The film will be directed by Andrew Stanton, director of the Toy Story series, Finding Nemo, and Finding Dory, co-directed by Kenna Harris, and produced by Lindsay Collins.
Event Overview
Jesse, a cowgirl doll, spends her daily life watching over the growth of a girl, Bonnie, but that changes completely with the appearance of a tablet called Lilypad. Jessie, who feels threatened by the loss of Bonnie's smile as her "playtime" is taken away, sets out with Woody and Buzz to win back Bonnie's heart. So what can toys do even as time passes? And the answer you will find at the end of your adventure.
During the event, special items with Toy Story designs will be on sale at 37 shops, including POP-UP stores, the largest ever. There will be plenty of playful items that are a must-see for fans, such as T-shirts with scenes from past games and goods featuring newly introduced characters.
In addition, from July 10th to August 30th, a special Toy Story 5 themed cafe, ``Toy Story 5'' OH MY CAFÉ, will open for a limited time at Box Cafe and Space 2nd store on the 8th floor. I would like to spend a special time with Woody, Jesse, and the Buzz Army menu.
Furthermore, if you purchase special items at participating shops during the period, you will receive a limited novelty item on a first-come, first-served basis depending on the purchase amount. The inside of the museum is decorated with original key visual decorations, oversized photo spots, and special item exhibits, and with "Pixar Hits" playing in the background, immerse yourself in the world of "Toy Story" and other Pixar movies.
