A new character, Navi, will appear in the July 3rd episode of the TV anime "Pocket Monsters." Yu Serizawa will be in charge of the cast.

The TV anime "Pokemon" is broadcast every Friday at 6:55pm on TV Tokyo. Navi is a character who works as Maciere's detective assistant in Miare City. Serizawa, who plays Navi, commented, ``I had a strong desire to get the role of Navi, so every night I asked my Metamon stuffed animal, ``Please choose me!'' Then, my manager said ``Congratulations,'' and I burst into tears.At the same time, I realized the scale of the work I was involved in, and I felt so tense that I couldn't stay excited.'' Furthermore, Serizawa will be in charge of the narration for "Anime 'Pokemon' Special Party! Full of Pokemon!!" which will be broadcast from 6:55pm on June 26th.
Also, Shiro from "Pokémon LEGENDS Z-A" appears in episode 142, "Miare City! New Encounters." The role of Shiro will be played by Nozomi Urawa. Ura said, ``I can't believe I'll be able to participate in the world of Pokémon, which I've loved since I was a child! I'm overwhelmed with emotion and my heart is trembling!!''
