Wasabi Kitano's one-shot ``Mimitori Tennyo'' was released on Shonen Jump+ today, February 23rd.

Ryuhei, a graduate student, has been strangely drawn to picture books with folk tales since childhood. It is a creepy story about a blind priest who wishes to a celestial maiden, ``I want to see you,'' and ends up losing his hearing. When Ryuhei visits a village where this tradition is spread and asks questions, he learns that Ryuhei had several stories unknown to him, including that the ear was cut off by a celestial maiden who fell in love with the priest, and that it was the work of a villager. When Ryuhei visits the temple that is the setting of the old tale, he sees something... It's a "folk horror x mystery" story about folk tales.
