A Heartfelt Youth Drama in a Seaside Town
For those who don't know yet, "Even a replica falls in love." is a touching youth group drama. It tells the story of Nao, who is a "replica" created specifically to stand in for the original Sunao Aikawa whenever she doesn't want to handle school or daily life. The story follows how Nao begins to develop her own feelings and eventually falls for Akiya Sanada, which starts changing her entire borrowed existence. Many are calling it the next big romance because of its bittersweet premise and emotional depth.
The newly announced cast members who will be joining the project are quite impressive:
- Yuki Takada as Ritsuko Hironaka (a childhood friend of Obedo and Nao)
- Kaori Natsuka as Suzumi Mori (the former student council president)
- Jun Fukuyama as Shun Mochizuki (the former vice president who supports Suzumi)
- Rina Hidaka as Kozue Sato (the president of Obedo and Akiya's class)
- Sougo Nakamura as Haruka Yoshii (the head of Akiya's class)
