Kurs, a boy born in the small village of Gerinzel in the Kingdom of Ilios to the second son of a poor farmer, had a complex about himself having nothing to inherit from his parents. Then he met a knight. Cruz is attracted to his strength and asks him to make him a knight. The knight tells Cruz, ``What are you standing for?'' ``Once that is determined, you will be a knight from then on.'' Why does the boy become a knight, and for whom does he wield the sword?
