The Unlikely Tutor-Student Relationship
The main character, Reio Tsukiyomi, was accepted to Japan's highest academic institution, Teito University, but due to certain circumstances, she gave up on enrolling and became a part-time worker. One day, Reio discovers a high-paying part-time job with an hourly wage of 10,000 yen and applies by lying about her background, but the client turns out to be Yukina Hoshi, a former popular idol.
A Tutor's Challenge
Reio decides to tutor Yukina, who wants to get into medical school, but her academic ability is lower than that of a middle school student. As Reio navigates her new role as a tutor, she must also confront her own feelings for Yukina, leading to a romantic comedy that explores the complexities of love, academics, and identity.
The work is currently being serialized in Monthly Shonen Magazine (Kodansha), offering readers a chance to follow Reio and Yukina's journey as they grow and learn together.
