"Grave Robber King" is an action story set in a world where mysterious "graves" containing "relics" that give their owners supernatural powers have appeared all over the world. The story depicts a reversal in which the main character, Ryoga Goriki, is saved from a predicament by the "crow's relic" and travels back in time to 2025, 15 years ago. Armed with his past memories and knowledge, he bares his fangs against the rulers who gained wealth and power through the relic. The original work is a webtoon based on a web novel.
In the anime, Irino will play the role of Kotaro Yanagi, a relic restorer who repairs broken artifacts, and who in the future is so powerful that he is called the ``King of Scams'', and Okamoto will play the role of Noboru Kureha, a thug hired by the gallery where Ryokawa used to work part-time.
