The anime "Demon's Crest" will be made into an anime in 2026. The teaser PV and teaser visual for the same work have been released, and it has been revealed that the main character, Yuma Ashihara, will be played by Haruka Shiraishi, and her twin sister, Saba Ashihara, will be played by Yoshi Inagaki. The animation production will be handled by Production I.G.
``Demon's Crest'', which is scheduled to be made into an anime in 2026, is based on the novel by Reki Kawahara of ``Sword Art Online''. A death game that takes place in an isolated world where reality is fused with the all-sensory immersion (full-dive) VRMMO-RPG "Actual Magic" is depicted. The teaser visual depicts Yuma with an upset expression. The teaser PV also shows Yuma, who was supposed to be enjoying a test play of ``Actual Magic'' with his classmates, but ends up being left behind in a dimly lit building.

The general director is Shinji Ushiro, and the director is Kenichiro Komaya. The series composition will be by Eiji Umehara, the character designs will be by Yukiko Horiguchi, who also did the original illustrations, and the music will be by Yuki Hayashi and Naoyuki Chikatani.
Kawahara has high hopes for the anime, saying, ``This animation, which was created by working together with many staff and cast members, is sure to warm or cool your heart.'' Shiraishi, who said this is his first time playing a male protagonist, commented on Yuma, saying, ``He is a kind-hearted child who cares about the people around him.He is a very dependable person in serious battle scenes, but I think it's endearing that he sometimes lets himself go.'' Inagaki also introduced Saba by saying, ``Saba is the twin sister of the Ashihara brothers and sisters, and although she is firm and spunky, she is actually a jealous child who cares about her brother.And it seems like she has some kind of secret...?''
An exhibition of "Demon's Crest" will be on display at the Warner Bros. Japan booth at "AnimeJapan 2026" to be held at Tokyo Big Sight on March 28th and 29th. An exhibition using teaser visuals and teaser PVs will be prepared. A stamp rally will also be held touring each area of the booth. Those who collect all the logo stamps will receive a random teaser visual card as a gift.
