Marika Official Story TV Anime Set for January 2027 Release
Fans of historical fantasy and palace drama have a lot to look forward to as the official broadcast start date for the TV anime Marika Official Story has been confirmed for January 2027. This announcement has really created a buzz, especially with the simultaneous release of a stunning teaser visual, along with details regarding the main cast and staff members who will be bringing this tale to life. It is quite a wait until 2027, but the early glimpses suggest it will be worth it for those following the Marika Official Story series.
Main Cast and Production Team Revealed
The casting choices have brought a lot of excitement to the community. Rie Takahashi is set to play the lead role of Koumatsurika. Her character is quite interesting—originally a commoner working as a court lady, she gets promoted because of her legendary "good memory." Playing opposite her is Nobunaga Shimazaki, who will voice Hakuyo, the Emperor of the Byakurou Kingdom. Hakuyo is described as a total genius who is handsome and excels in both studies and martial arts. Interestingly, both Takahashi and Shimazaki are returning to these roles after previously working on the voice drama and PV for the original light novel, which is great for consistency.
