The broadcast start date of the TV anime "Marika Official Story" has been decided in January 2027. At the same time, a teaser visual, cast and staff were announced.
Rie Takahashi plays the role of Koumatsurika, who was originally a commoner and worked as a court lady, but was promoted to court lady due to her "good memory". Nobunaga Shimazaki will play the role of Hakuyo, the Emperor of the Byakurou Kingdom, who is said to be handsome and a genius in both academics and martial arts. Both Takahashi and Shimazaki are returning from the voice drama and PV of the original novel. The “teaser visual release PV” includes two character voices. The general director is Takeshi Mori, the director is Yuichi Nakazawa, and the character design is Manami Inose. MAHO FILM will be in charge of animation production.

``Marika Official Story'' is a story about a girl who was planning to live a life of bit-part roles, but eventually grows up to become the hope of the country. Marika Akira, a lady-in-waiting who works at the Inner Palace of the Byakurou Country, has a special skill of being able to remember things better than other people. Meanwhile, Marika is appointed as a practice partner for the son of a prestigious family on behalf of a colleague. However, waiting at the designated place was the beautiful Emperor of the Byakurou Kingdom, Kanyo, who was good-looking and had both literary and military skills. Marika is first noticed by Kohyo, who is interested in her extraordinary memory, and is called upon often.
