Anisama 2026: First 26 Artists Announced for Makuhari Messe
The first 26 performing artists for the massive anime song live event, Animelo Summer Live 2026 -Messenger-, have finally been revealed. Fans have been waiting for this news quite eagerly, and the lineup definitely does not disappoint for this upcoming edition.
Actually, Ani Summer will be marking its 20th anniversary in 2025, which is a huge milestone. However, for the 2026 event, there is a bit of a change in plans. Due to some really large-scale renovation work going on at the usual Saitama Super Arena, the venue has been shifted. This year, the three-day musical extravaganza will be held at Makuhari Messe in Chiba. The dates are locked for July 10th, 11th, and 12th. You might notice that the event has also been moved forward by more than a month compared to the typical late August schedule we are used to.
Day-wise Artist Lineup for Anisama 2026
The organizers have shared a very detailed list of who will be taking the stage each day. It looks like a perfect mix of veteran anisong singers and some fresh faces that have recently gained a lot of popularity.
- July 10th (Day 1): The opening day will feature high-energy performances from angela, Maaya Uchida, and Shota Aoi. We will also see fripSide, Miho Okazaki, MADKID, and Kyodan Kishida & THE Myojo Rockets. Rounding up the first day are Nao Higashiyama and RAISE A SUILEN.
- July 11th (Day 2): On the second day, GRANRODEO, Konomi Suzuki, and TrySail will be performing. Fans can also look forward to Yui Ogura, Miku Ito, Kaori Ishihara, and MYTH & ROID. A special highlight is Riko Sasaki appearing as a solo artist for the first time, and the group A3\! making their debut at Anisama itself.
- July 12th (Day 3): The final day features Masayoshi Oishi, ReoNa, Sphere, Manami, and Sougo Nakamura. Yu Serizawa will also perform feat. MOTSU, along with CHiCO with HoneyWorks.
Special Appearances and Ticket Information
An interesting bit of news is that she will also be "running" in the Uma Musume Pretty Derby segment, which is always a fan favourite. It's really great to see how much Uma Musume Pretty Derby has grown within the anisong community lately.
If you want to relive the previous year's magic, the Blu-ray for Animelo Summer Live 2025 -ThanXX!- is set to be released on March 25th. This is quite important because the fastest advance ticket lottery reservation for the Animelo Summer Live 2026 -Messenger- event will actually start on that very same day for those who purchase the Blu-ray. So, if you are planning to go to Chiba this July, you better keep an eye on that release date!
