The great magician Lucas Bailey takes Aria, a girl with a scar on her face due to a curse, as his apprentice. Lucas is proud of her beauty, but hates people who flock to her appearance. Aria is actually attracted to Lucas, but she is afraid that he will find out and reject him. Aria has mixed feelings every time someone kisses her over the bandage, hoping to break the curse.
