Garupan Final Chapter Episode 5 & Ribbon Warrior Pilot Coming in October
The long-awaited release date for the 5th episode of the Girls & Panzer Final Chapter anime is finally fixed for October 9th. This is really exciting news for the fans. For the first time in this entire series, we are getting a Dolby Cinema release. Along with that, the movie will be available in five different formats including Dolby Atmos, 4DX, MX4D, and the usual regular screenings. It is going to be a massive theatrical experience for sure.

If you are looking to grab some early merchandise, the first movie ticket card for Episode 5 comes with a special clear file. These will be available starting March 27th at various theaters, Major mail order, and the MOVIE WALKER STORE. The clear file features the teaser visual design, so it’s a nice collectible. You can also find these at the Hakuhodo DY Music & Pictures booth during AnimeJapan 2026, which is happening at Tokyo Big Sight on the 28th and 29th.

Exciting Spin-off News: Ribbon Warrior and More Love Love Operation
There is even more for the community to look forward to. The pilot version of the spin-off manga Girls und Panzer Ribbon Warrior, created by Takeshi Nogami and Takaaki Suzuki, is set to be screened. This will happen alongside the fourth act of Girls und Panzer More Love Love Operation Desu! on April 10th. The story of Ribbon Warrior follows Shizuka Tsuruhime, a girl who is basically obsessed with real battle, and Rin Shofurin, who just wants to shine while riding a tank. The studio Actas is handling the production, keeping the quality consistent with the main series. Right now, the third act of Girls & Panzer Motto Love Love Operation Desu\! is in theaters, and they just announced the admission benefits for the 3rd and 4th weeks.
- Week 3: Fans will get one of three types of original style mini colored paper, distributed randomly.
- Week 4: There are 100 different types of 4-panel manga bookmarks being given away.


Upcoming Events and Special Features
To mark the end of the More Love Love Operation screenings, a big event called Girls & Panzer More Love Love Carnival! will take place on June 28th at Yurakucho Asahi Hall. Early bird tickets are already up on E+ as of today, March 15th. The guest list is quite big, featuring Mai Fuchigami (Miho Nishizumi), Natsumi Takamori (Rosehip/Rum), Ayako Kawasumi (Kei), Daichiha, and Hitomi Namatenme. Theme song artists ChouCho and Saka Sasaki will also be performing. If you want to buy goods, the A-on STORE is holding a pre-sale until April 17th.
