Exciting Discovery: Original Mini-Anime to Accompany Girls & Panzer Act 3
There is some really great news for all the fans of the Girls und Panzer series. It has been officially confirmed that after the main part of the third act of the anime "Girls & Panzer Motto Love Love Operation Desu!", a special original mini-anime titled "A new tank has been discovered!" will be screened for the audience. This is quite an interesting addition because the story for this mini-episode is specially written by Captain Marco. Along with this announcement, the team has also released the visitor benefit information for the first and second weeks of the theatrical run.
Looking at the plot of this original mini-anime, it seems Yukari and her close group of friends gather together to search for a mysterious "new tank" that is supposedly hidden somewhere deep beneath the Oarai Girls' School ship. The girls end up heading towards an unexplored area located deep underground. However, their mission doesn't go exactly as planned. They are easily swayed by several unexpected events, like walking through dimly lit passageways and finding some very mysterious food stalls that distract them from their main goal. It sounds like a fun and light-hearted side story that stays true to why Girls und Panzer is such a beloved franchise for many of us.
Special Benefits and Merchandise for Visitors
The makers have planned some nice bonuses for the people coming to watch it in theaters. Starting from March 6th, which is the very first day of the exhibition, every visitor will receive a newly drawn manga created by Nijo. But if you happen to go during the second week, which starts from March 13th, you will get something different. One of the two types of special "White Day postcards" will be distributed randomly to the viewers. It is definitely a good way to keep the fans coming back for more.
Stage Greetings and Upcoming Schedule
To celebrate the screening of the third act properly, two stage greetings were held on March 8th at Shinjuku Wald 9 in Tokyo. Many popular voice actors were part of the event, including:

The "Girls & Panzer Motto Love Love Strategy!" series has been showing in theaters in 4 acts since December 2025.
