Sho-Comi Boys' Dream Situation Photo Cards: Magical Girl Dandelion and More
The latest update for Sho-Comi fans is here and it is quite a big one. The first batch of the much-awaited Sho-Comi Men's Dream Situation Photo Cards has finally been released. This special collection features several popular works, including the fan-favourite Magical Girl Dandelion by Kaeru Mizuho. You can find these cards tucked inside the Sho-Comi No. 6 issue from Shogakukan, which just hit the stands today on February 20th. It's a real treat for collectors who love these characters.

These Sho-Comi Men's Dream Situation Photo Cards have been prepared as a binding supplement that will span across two consecutive issues. For this first edition, the creative team has gone with a very specific and popular theme: "Boys with Glasses." It is definitely a style that many readers appreciate. The lineup for these newly drawn illustrations is quite solid, featuring male characters from various hit series like:
- Magical Girl Dandelion by Kaeru Mizuho
- Cake\×Bomb by Airi Sano
- Tokyo \§ Shinrou by Kyoko Kumagai
- Kiss me Kirachu by Hikari Suzusaki
- The King's Other World Bride (featuring art by Mariri Morineko, Tail Yuzuhara, Hikari Adachihara, and Yurie Ono)
The size of these cards is very practical as well. They are designed to fit perfectly into a smartphone case or a standard card holder, so you can carry your favourite boys around with you. What's even more interesting is the back of the card, which contains something called a "Dream Situation Novel." It adds a bit of narrative depth to the beautiful artwork on the front. If you are a fan, then Magical Girl Dandelion is definitely one of the highlights of this set.
New Manga Series and Upcoming Surprises
Apart from the photo cards, Sho-Comi No. 6 has some more news to share. A brand new series titled Love and childcare are too difficult for Yankees R has officially started its serialization. This is a follow-up or a new chapter in the "Love and childcare are too difficult for Yankees" story, which has already gained quite a bit of attention for its unique premise. It's nice to see these characters back in action.
Also, don't forget to grab the next issue as well. The publishers have already teased that the second batch of the Sho-Comi Boys' Dream Situation Photo Cards will be included there. The theme for the next set is going to be "pajamas," which I'm sure many fans are already looking forward to with a lot of excitement.

In related news, there was a recent feature where the 2.5D actor Keisuke Ueda shared his thoughts on playing the shadow monster Shade from Magical Girl Dandelion. The author, Mizuho Kaeru, was actually very impressed and highly praised his expression of the character. This just goes to show how much Magical Girl Dandelion has grown beyond just the manga pages. This interview was originally highlighted around November 2025.

Lastly, it is worth noting that Ai Minase and Kyoko Kumagai are celebrating their 20th anniversary in the industry. They have given us so many masterpieces like Honey ni Tsukoi, Seishun Heavy Rotation, Chocolate Vampire, and Tokyo § Shinro. Looking back at these famous scenes really brings back all the excitement that has colored Sho-Comi for the past two decades. It's a great time to be a manga reader!
