The Final Chapter of the Adolescent Syndrome Mystery

For those who have been following Sakuta Azusagawa and his friends, this latest project is quite a big deal. Rascal Does Not Dream of Dear Friend is the newest work in the franchise and is being positioned as the final piece of the puzzle. All those strange and supernatural mysteries surrounding Adolescent Syndrome—which we have seen affecting both high school and university students—are finally going to be solved here. The movie is currently scheduled for a release this fall, and the anticipation is honestly quite high among the community. It feels like a long journey is finally coming to a conclusion.

The second batch of these advance tickets will feature a brand-new illustration of Mai Sakurajima, specifically drawn for the movie theaters. This same beautiful artwork is also going to be used for an A4 clear file that comes with the ticket. If you are planning to get your hands on these, they will be sold at the Aniplex store booth during AnimeJapan 2026, which is happening at Tokyo Big Sight on March 28th and 29th. Don't worry if you can't make it to the venue, because a post-order mail service is also planned to start from 12:00 on March 30th. It is a great way to support the series and get a nice souvenir at the same time.

Rebroadcast Details and Historical Interviews

If you want to refresh your memory, the rebroadcasts are starting very soon. You can watch the series again from April 5th on TOKYO MX and BS11, or catch it on ABEMA starting April 7th. It is always a good idea to review the guide to the anime and manga version of the first film before you go for the final screening later this year. The emotional weight of the series is much better when the previous events are fresh in your mind.
