The fourth work in the series, which depicts the choices made by Woody and Buzz, will be released on the day of the release of the latest work in the series, "Toy Story 5." Forky, Bonnie's handmade toy, has become a new owner for Woody and his friends. However, Forky is a troubled person who thinks he is trash and immediately tries to get into the trash can. Woody chases Forky, who ran away from Bonnie's car on the way to camp, and stumbles into an antique shop. There, Woody reunites with his former companion, the doll Bo Peep. As he adventures into a world he has never seen before, he will be forced to make a big decision in his life. A touching film that depicts the bonds between toys and the choices they make.
The Story Unfolds
The cowboy doll Woody (Toshiaki Karasawa) is taken from his original owner, Andy, and becomes a toy for a small girl, Bonnie. Recently, Woody seems to have been forgotten by Bonnie, but he continues to watch over her kindly. One day, during a kindergarten trial, Bonnie makes a toy using a spoon with a broken tip and names it Forky (Ryo Ryusei). Woody takes care of Forky, who immediately wants to go into the trash can because he thinks he's trash. However, while going on a family trip, Forky runs away from the car...! With Woody's persuasion, Forky decides to stay by Bonnie's side.
Woody and Forky arrive at Bonnie's town, where they see a nostalgic lamp at an antique shop. It is the lamp of Bo Peep (Keiko Toda), a shepherd doll who was an old friend. Woody enters the store looking for Bo and is welcomed by the doll Gabby Gabby (Yuko Araki), but ends up taking Forky hostage. Her target is the speaker inside Woody's body. Because the speaker inside her body was broken, Gabby Gabby was suffering from not being loved by her owner. Woody reunites with Bo and asks for his help to save Forky, but...
