The Inspiration Behind the New Arc
This project was inspired by the column 'All roads lead to shark movies (?)' by Mr. Shark Movie Rookie, a buyer and translator specializing in shark movies, which is serialized in Natalie the Movie. In the first installment of the same series, he enthusiastically wrote about the similarities between 'KING OF PRISM' and 'Sharknado,' saying, 'They have something in common in the sense of 'brain relaxation brought about by excessive production,' which caused a stir.
Between the Screenings
Between the screenings of the two films, a talk event was held between Mr. Shark Eiga Rookie, who is also the president of the Japan Shark Film Society, and Mr. Utsuribi Toiro from the society's public relations department. The two shark movie enthusiasts and fans of 'KING OF PRISM' will give lectures on things like 'how to cheer for the sharks' in 'Sharknado 6: The Last Chainsaw,' so even those new to shark movies can participate with confidence.
