The start of production on the completely new theatrical version of ``KING OF PRISM -Tri-Star Act-'', the latest work in the anime ``KING OF PRISM'' series, was announced at the event ``KING OF PRISM SUPER LIVE Prism☆Tours!'' held today, June 28th. The stage of this work is the Prism Show trio competition "PRISM.3". A teaser visual featuring Yukinojou, Kakeru, and Minato and a special video were also released.
The teaser visual is drawn by character designer Mai Matsuura. With the catchphrase ``Now, that bond is being tested...'', the image depicts the ``senior group'' chatting in the Edel Rose dormitory at dusk. The special video begins with a scene in which Schwartz Rose commander Hitoshi Hozuki loudly proclaims the overthrow of Edel Rose in "PRISM.3". While TRI-UMviratuS and Over The Rainbow, who were formed in the previous work, have announced their participation in the tournament, Takanawa Getaway Prince, played by Chiaki Kobayashi (formerly known as Ushio Takaryashi), also declares war on Minato's older brother, with Tsubasa, Minato's younger sister, at stake. In the second half, there are signs that something is about to change in the Prism World, and the serious thoughts of Yukinojou, Kakeru, and Minato, who are participating in the tournament on behalf of SePTENTRION.

Junta Terashima, who plays Shin Ichijo, commented, ``I'm trying to imagine what kind of development is waiting for me, but it's definitely not going to turn out the way I imagined, so I'll be excited to wait for the script to arrive eventually...I'm looking forward to the day when I can shine in the theater with everyone again!'' The main staff and cast have also been revealed, with Masakazu Hishida serving as general director, Yuzuru Aoba writing the screenplay, Yoshihiro Otobe serving as CG director, Daisuke Kato serving as the original designer for Prism Jump, Rei Ishizuka serving as music supervisor, Nobuto Kojima serving as sound supervisor, and Tatsunoko Productions producing animation.
