It has been decided that the TV anime "Shizuku of God" based on the original work by Nao Aki and Shu Okimoto will be broadcast in two seasons on TOKYO MX and other channels from April 10th. Additional cast members, key visuals, and PV have been released.
Five additional cast members have been released. Yuko Kaida will play the role of Ryoko Kiryu, a lawyer who is in charge of inheritance based on Toyotaka Kanzaki's will and is present at the confrontation between Shizuku and Issei over the "Shizuku of God" and the "Twelve Apostles", and Masahide Fuji will play the role of Shiro Fujieda, the sommelier who owns the wine bar Monopole where Miyabi frequents. Misa Watanabe will play Maki Saionji, the president of Scion Corporation, which imports and sells wine, and Issei's patron, while Yuya Uchida will play Soichiro Mishima, the president and owner of Bourgogne Rouge, where Miyabi works. Jin Urayama has been cast as Robert Doi, who lives in a cardboard house in a park and is described by Fujieda as ``the person who knows the most about wine in Ginza.'' The key visual depicts the main characters Shizuku Kamisaki and Kazuo Tomine facing each other with a wine glass in the background.
The original work of "Shizuku of God" is a wine manga that was serialized in Morning (Kodansha) from 2004 to 2014. Related works include ``Phantom Thief Levain'', ``Marriage - The Last Chapter of the Drops of God'', and ``Deuxième of the Gods'', and the cumulative circulation of the series worldwide has exceeded 15 million copies. In the anime, Kazuya Kamenashi, who played Shizuku in the 2009 TV drama, will play Shizuku Kamisaki.
