The August issue of DIME (Shogakukan) in collaboration with Yugo Kobayashi's ``Aoashi'' will be released tomorrow, June 16th. In conjunction with the North and Central America World Cup currently being held, we are publishing a special feature on Japanese soccer.
The Inspiration Behind the New Arc
In the August issue, we cover the path that Japanese soccer has taken from a unique perspective, including not only the Japan Football Association, the J League, and the training generation, but also the contributions of sponsor companies. Interviews with former Japan national team members Yasuhito Endo, Kengo Nakamura, Takashi Fukunishi, Kazuyuki Toda, coach Mihailo Petrovich who has led numerous Japanese professional clubs, and Kobayashi will be featured. He also mentioned how soccer manga, including "Aoashi," have contributed to the advancement of Japanese soccer. A knapsack made in collaboration with "Aoashi" is included.
