30 TOHO Animation Works to Showcase at AnimeJapan 2026
The much-awaited AnimeJapan 2026 is finally coming to Tokyo Big Sight on the 28th and 29th of March. This is basically the biggest event for anime lovers, and recently, they have dropped some very big updates regarding the TOHO animation booth. We now have all the details about the stage lineups, booth exhibits, and the exclusive merchandise that will be available for the fans who are planning to visit.
What to Expect at the TOHO Animation Booth
It has been confirmed that about 30 different works are going to be gathered at the TOHO animation booth this year. It is quite a massive lineup, honestly. You can expect to see displays for the 3rd season of Jujutsu Kaisen, which is currently airing and keeping everyone on the edge of their seats. Along with that, they will showcase the 2nd season of Funeral Free Ren (Frieren: Beyond Journey's End) and the upcoming Snowball Earth, which is set to premiere in April. Other heavy hitters include the 3rd season of Dr.STONE SCIENCE FUTURE and the 2nd season of The Angel Next Door Turned Me into a No-Good Person.
Apart from these, some of the most popular series in the world like Haikyu!!, My Hero Academia, SPY x FAMILY, Kaiju No. 8, and Apothecary's Hitorigoto will also have their presence felt at the booth. If you are a fan of Science SARU, you should definitely check out their corner featuring titles like Ghost in the Shell, Dandadan, and Jardugal of the Tent. Also, they are giving away a limited number of original booklets titled "TOHO animation INFO" which will have all the latest scoops on their projects.
Stage Programs and Event Details
The stage events are always the highlight of AnimeJapan, and this time is no different. They have divided the programs across different coloured stages:
- RED Stage: This stage will feature a very special collaboration program between My Hero Academia and Vigilante -My Hero Academia ILLEGALS-. There are also dedicated programs for Jujutsu Kaisen and Funeral Free Ren here.
- GREEN Stage: Fans can catch updates on Mushoku Tensei III \~I'm serious when I go to another world\~ and Dr.STONE SCIENCE FUTURE.
- BLUE Stage: This stage is mainly for The Angel Next Door Turned Me into a No-Good Person.
- WHITE Stage: Here, you can see programs for Ao no Hako (Blue Box) and Snowball Earth.
If you are worried about missing out on the goods, don't be. Original event merchandise will be sold both at the TOHO animation STORE ONLINE and at the venue booth. Series like Haikyu!!, Jujutsu Kaisen, SPY x FAMILY, and A Monologue at the Apothecary will have goods featuring brand new illustrations. Even titles like BEASTARS, TRIGUN STARGAZE, and I'm an Ordinary Villain, but ~Hinamiya Chonu Tori Kaeden~ will have new products.
