The New Chinese BL 'Hyakushitsubochu-kun' in Melody

In the June issue of Melody (Hakusensha), which was released today on April 28th, the new original Chinese BL 'Hyakushi Tsubochu-kun - Hyakushitamafu Tsubonaka-kun', written by Nanpei Yamada and illustrated by Shigeru Takao, is published in color at the front page.

The Storyline of 'Hyakushitsubochu-kun'

'Hundred Dead Pot Zhong-kun - Hundred Dead Tamafu Pot Zhong-kun' is a Chinese BL that depicts the robber Huo Xiao and the young prince Jiran. When Huo Hao tries to steal Shuran's vase, Shuran, who cannot continue to die due to the vase's curse, asks him if he can kill him. Huo Yong, who is tasked with killing Ji Ran, who comes back to life again and again, gradually develops feelings for Ji Lan.

This issue also features a special article commemorating Shigeru Takao's 30th anniversary as a painter. The 4th volume of Takao's 'Magical House' and the 5th volume of 'Akebonobashi Sanjunji Hakuho Cafe' will be released simultaneously on May 1st. In the paper version of Melody's June issue, five people will be randomly selected to receive an autographed book set.

In addition, in this issue, Madosawa Madoko's 'On the Danchi no Mado' was published in color. A heartwarming one-shot depicting the daily life of an anime production company employee who takes a leave of absence due to overwork. 'In the Danchi no Mado' will also be published in the next August issue, which will be released on June 26th.
