Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood Now Available in New Languages
After 17 years, Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood has finally received three new official dubs. Crunchyroll will start streaming the Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu dubs for the anime in India starting July 27, 2026. This marks a significant milestone for anime fans in India, who will now be able to enjoy the series in their local languages.
Indian viewers have been waiting for a long time to get regional language dubs for their favorite anime shows. As demand for anime increases in the Indian market, streaming platforms are expanding localized dubbing for classic titles that are popular in the region. Alongside Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, Crunchyroll also began releasing Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu dubs for Naruto Shippuden and Tokyo Ghoul this month.
The Story of Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood
Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood follows the story of Edward and Alphonse Elric, two brothers who lost their bodies in a failed attempt at human transmutation. Edward loses his right arm and left leg, while Alphonse is left with his soul bound to a suit of armor. To regain their bodies, the brothers set out on a journey to find the legendary Philosopher’s Stone, which eventually leads them to becoming State Alchemists and uncovering a sinister plan involving the Homunculi and their master.
