"Gate SEASON 2" is the "Maritime Self-Defense Force edition" of the "Another World x Self-Defense Force fantasy" "Gate: Self-Defense Force: How They Fight in His Land" series, which has also been made into a TV anime. After the "Gate" was reopened due to the efforts of Yohji Itami and others of the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force, the Japanese government aimed to strengthen relations with the "special region" of another world. Meanwhile, Colonel Goro Etajima of the Maritime Self-Defense Force and Staff Sergeant Hou Tokushima, a talented chef, are given a special mission to retrieve an abducted American journalist. It has been decided that "Gate SEASON 2" will be made into a TV anime in 2027.

Along with the start of comicalization, Comic Natalie conducted an interview with the original author, Yanauchi. We talked about the secret story behind the birth of ``Gate,'' which started out as a web novel about 20 years ago and has since influenced many light novel writers, his thoughts on Kanao, the comic creator who says ``It was a wonderful encounter,'' his commitment to ``Gate SEASON 2,'' which is set in the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force, and his expectations for the TV anime scheduled to air in 2027.
