Koupen-chan TV Anime Schedule Shift: New Visuals and PV Revealed
There is some really big news for fans of the most positive penguin on television. It has been officially revealed that the broadcast time of the TV anime Koupen-chan will be changed very soon. Starting from April 5th, the show will move from its current 8:28 slot to a slightly earlier time of 8:00 in the morning. To make this announcement even more special, the production team has released a brand new "Moving" logo along with fresh visuals and the much-awaited third promotional video (PV).
Since its debut in April 2025, the Koupen-chan anime has been winning hearts every Sunday, broadcasting across TV Asahi's 24 stations nationwide. It is honestly the perfect weekend companion for many. The newly released third PV is quite exciting because it gives us a proper sneak peek into what is coming for the second year of the series. For many viewers, watching this adorable penguin anime is the ultimate stress relief after a long week of work or studies.
Celebrating the Second Year with a Special Radio Project
To celebrate the second year of the TV anime broadcast, the makers are starting a very interactive project. The official Koupen-chan character, who was actually recruited through the Official X (formerly Twitter) account and the official website, is going to start a question-and-answer session. This means the cute little penguin will personally respond to your requests for advice, various questions, and general comments. It is such a sweet way to connect with the audience, no? We are still waiting for a later announcement regarding when exactly these responses will be released, so stay tuned for that.
Limited Edition 1st Anniversary Merchandise
In addition to the schedule change, a special logo commemorating the 1st anniversary of the TV anime broadcast has also appeared. And if you are a collector, you are going to love this part. From 10:00 AM on March 20th, limited edition goods celebrating this milestone will be available for sale. You can find them at TV Asahi's official goods shops, including the Teleasa Shop Roppongi, Tokyo Station, and the Teleasa Shop ONLINE store.
