Volume 1 of ``Pain Detective Natsume Tsutenji [The Brilliant Incident Record of Super Sensible Persons]'', originally written by Kyo Yumoto and illustrated by Sayaka Ichioi, was released today, April 9th, by KADOKAWA's Dragon Comics Age.
Ataru, a high school boy, returns to the town where he used to live after his grandmother's death, and saves Natsume, a mysterious beautiful girl who is entangled with a man. Surprisingly, Natsume is a member of the detective agency that Ataru will be heading to from now on, and is a weirdo with a passion for pain who calls himself a ``Beautiful Pain Expert''. The detective agency also includes beautiful female detectives who are in charge of sight and smell, and Ataru, who has a ``sixth sense'' that sharpens her intuition when she has a headache, is also scouted as a detective. The story depicts the mystery of supernatural powers woven by super-sentient people.
