The first volume of Ginga Kawai's ``Circuit Switcher'' was released by KADOKAWA today, April 10th. This is a comic adaptation of Takahiro Yasuno's novel, with Taiki Kanda in charge of the composition.

The story is set in Tokyo at a time when fully self-driving cars powered by AI have become widespread. Yoshiharu Sakamoto, the president of Simon Technologies, the largest self-driving AI company, is attacked by terrorists and trapped in a vehicle that explodes if the speed drops below 90km/h. The terrorist Mukarraf asks Sakamoto a question to which he can only answer "yes" in a situation where lying is not acceptable. The question was, ``Are you killing someone?''
