SAO Author and Others Contribute to EGG FIRM's 10th Anniversary Book
It is really a big moment for the anime production company EGG FIRM as they celebrate their 10th anniversary since establishment. To mark this special decade, they have decided to release a commemorative book that brings together the brilliant minds behind some of our favourite series. The cover illustration itself is a treat, as it has been created by the famous animator and anime director Shingo Adachi, who is well-known for his incredible character designs.

A Massive Collaboration of Creators
The "EGG FIRM 10th Anniversary Book" is not just any regular release; it is actually going to feature a huge number of original authors, illustrators, and directors who have worked with the company over the years. Fans can expect to see new illustrations from more than 20 creators. This includes big names like Kohaku Kuroboshi, who worked on Kino's Journey -the Beautiful World- the Animated Series, and Akio Watanabe from Gyakuten Sekai no Battery Girl. It is quite exciting to see all these different art styles coming together in one place.
Apart from the visual art, there are some really special written contributions included as well. The book will feature new novels and manga stories from legendary original authors. You will get to read new content by:
- Reki Kawahara, the visionary behind Sword Art Online.
- Fujino Omori, the creator of Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?.
- Keiichiro Shibuya, known for his work on The Jewel of Lazuli.
Behind-the-Scenes Insights and Discussions
For those who love hearing about the production side of things, this book has plenty of deep-dive content. There is a roundtable discussion involving popular voice actors like Teijo Matsuoka, Ai Kayano, and Inori Minase. Hearing their perspective on the industry is always very interesting for the fans. Additionally, there’s a serious conversation between Nobuhiro Osawa (CEO of EGG FIRM) and Kazuma Miki (CEO of Straight Edge). Kazuma Miki is quite famous as the editor who handled Sword Art Online, so their talk about the industry's evolution is sure to be insightful. There is even a more relaxed "bar talk" segment between Osawa and the acclaimed anime director Akiyuki Shinbo.

If you are lucky enough to be at AnimeJapan 2026, you can find the book on sale in advance at the EGG FIRM booth with some exclusive venue-only benefits. For everyone else, don't worry, as it is scheduled to be released in early April at Melon Books and Animate stores across the country. It is definitely a must-have for any serious collector who wants to celebrate a decade of amazing anime production.
