The Pekopon Invasion Musical 'Sergeant Keroro', based on the original work by Kannon Yoshizaki, will feature Shogo Tamura as Sergeant Keroro, Shion Otomo as Private Tamama, Ryoyuki Kusachi as Corporal Giroro, Haruki Okama as Sergeant Kururu, and Kokoro Tamura as Corporal Dororo. A teaser visual was also released.
The Musical's Storyline
'Sergeant Keroro' is a story depicting the comical daily life of Keroro Platoon, who came from the planet Keron to invade Earth (Pekopon), and the Earthling Hyuga family, who live there.
Performance Details
The 'Pekopon Invasion Musical 'Keroro Sergeant'' will be performed at Nippon Seinenkan Hall in Tokyo from September 18th to 27th. The teaser visual depicts members of Keroro Platoon wearing colorful costumes with Earth in the background. In addition, an official TikTok for “Keromu” has been opened.
The musical's script and direction will be by Keita Kawajiri, who has worked on many comedies as the head of the theater unit SUGARBOY, and Yu (vague) will be in charge of the music. With a talented cast and crew, this musical is sure to delight fans of the original work.
