Simultaneous Screening: Gundam Flash of Hathaway and Char's Counterattack
Fans of the legendary Mobile Suit Gundam series have something really big to look forward to. The upcoming films, Mobile Suit Gundam: Flash of Hathaway: The Witch of Circe and the classic Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack, are all set for a simultaneous screening. The new mecha art visuals for this event are handled by the CG director Takayuki Masuo. He has done a great job of reimagining the classic rivalry. The original poster for Char's Counterattack showed the duel between Amuro’s v Gundam and Char’s Sazabi. In this new version, that same energy is captured using the Xi Gundam and the mass-produced v Gundam, which both feature in Flash of Hathaway: The Witch of Circe. It’s a very nice tribute to the older film while highlighting the new one.

Before the main screenings start, there is also a special stage greeting scheduled for March 12th. This will take place at Marunouchi Piccadilly in Tokyo. The event is mainly to celebrate the release of the Dolby Cinema version of Flash of Light Hathaway: The Witch of Circe. Fans attending will get to see Hiroyuki Sawano, the genius who composed the music, and SennaRin, who provided the beautiful insert song for the movie. Having such talented artists on stage together is quite a rare treat for the community.
